About Me

First off, I hate the biography section. How do you even begin to describe yourself? And do I really have to use the third person? Is that implying that someone else wrote this section for me? Wait– can I actually do that?

My name is Chelsey. I am a busy mother to three amazing children, a french bulldog, and a potbelly pig. I enjoy drinking wine and basking in my own imperfection. I have a wonderful husband who has seen me shit myself during labor and still thinks I’m amazing. What can I say– I’m a lucky girl.

If you’re looking for a role model then you’ve probably come to the wrong place. But if you like honesty and truth, and an unabashed view of motherhood– this may be the place for you. Those handy tabs at the top of the page have the blog posts listed into categories. Or, take your time and peruse them in order.

Have questions? Comments? Are you alone at 2 am on the internet googling things that may be wrong with your baby because you haven’t slept in 8 months and she’s looking slightly red and you’re concerned? Reach out. Motherhood is a crazy place.

    Hello, Chelsey!

My name is Kaidi and I’m writing to you on behalf of Embrace Her Health and Pregnancy Companion App (www.embraceherhealth.com).

We’ve discovered your blog and find it very good! You manage the skill of great strorytelling and make your posts fun and easily relatable to a lot of modern mothers.

Little something about us too: Embrace Her Health – like the name says – is dedicated to women’s health. Our Pregnancy Companion App has over half million users and it’s the only app developed by Board-Certified obstetricians. PCA is dedicated to offer women and families evidence-based reproductive health education and support 24/7.

We would kindly like to offer You the opportunity to contribute to our blog as a guest author and an experienced mommy blogger! And in exchange You could introduce Diary of a Mommy to a wide audience of women and possible new readers.

We are looking for content that is first and foremost related to pregnancy but the specific post topic would be for You to decide. We believe You have a lot of interesting tips and advice to share as a mother of two toddlers. Would You be up for it?

I am looking forward to hearing from You and hopefully making this collaboration happen in the near future!

    Warm Regards

    Hi there,
I found your blog after one of my friends shared it with me on Facebook and wanted to run a few things by you. I’m working on a home education project, and I think it’s something you could definitely relate to. Let me know if you have a moment to discuss.
    Thanks!

Hey Judy! I remember those nights well ❤️ Writing always helped me get through everything and it was surprising how many other moms out there felt the exact same way! You should do it!
